We have enclosed a PowerPoint presentation of the Comenius project A World of Tales as it has been going on so far. Reading tales

Vyžuonos school is happy to take part in the comenius Project „The world of tales“.

Every Friday we read tales, ilustrate them, watch old animation at the school library.

On the first meeting the school headmaster awarded children, that draw the nicest mascots :

L.Eigėlis, G.Beimonaitė, I. Morozovaitė, K.Petronytė, L.Raslanaitė. Kvetkauskaitė

The winner is Rokas Šukys.

The prie-pimary teacher Vilma Rudokienė played the play “ The Mitten” with her preprimary children.

Religion teacher Jolita Gugeliūnienė read the advent story „ The Star“. The children liked the moral of this story.

The teachers Rita and Jūratė played the play „ Bremen‘s Muzicians“ with the 3rd level children.

ACTIVIDAD PRIMER TRIMESTRE: CUENTOS DE EUROPA-CAPERUCITA ROJA.

Una de las últimas actividades del Trimestre, realizadas en el centro, tuvo lugar en el Centro Cultural de El Esparragal con la representación teatral de titeres de Caperucita Roja. Esta se encuadra dentro de los cuentos de Europa que estamos trabajando en el Colegio.
La representación fue a cargao de la Compañía Teatral "Los Clavales", a la que acudió todo el alumnado del colegio.

ACTIVIDAD PRIMER TRIMESTRE: ELECCIÓN MASCOTA

CEIP NTRA SRA DE LOS ÁNGELES.

Una de las primeras actividades que se programaron en la primera reunión de trabajo que tuvo lugar en nuestro centro, fue la elección de una mascota para El Proyecto Comenius "A World of Tales".

Para ello, cada colegio de los que forman parte de este proyecto tenían que realizar un concurso de mascotas, donde todo el alumnado participara. Así, en el CEIP Ntra. Sra. de los Ángeles durante el mes de noviembre en la asignatura de Plástica, nuestros/as alumnos/as realizaron dibujos representando a una mascota.

Posteriormente el profesorado eligió la mejor de cada clase, resultando ganadoras las siguientes mascotas realizadas por:

-Infantil 3 años: Jaime.

-Infantil 4 años: Marina.

-Infantil 5 años: Beatriz.

-Primero: Lydia.

-Segundo: Victor.

-Tercero: José Manuel

-Cuarto: Ana.

-Quinto: Dmytro.

-Sexto: Marta.

Luego se expusieron en un tablón en el pasillo del colegio y donde toda la comunidad educativa pudo verlos antes del día de la votación.

Por último, el día 30 se realizó una votación donde votaron todo el alumnado del centro y donde salió ganadora una mascota realizada por una niña de cuarto que le llamó BLUE.

El ganador de nuestro colegio ha sido el dibujo realizado por una niña de cuarto de Primaria. Su mascota se llama Blue, y representa todos los países de Europa, el ejemplo lo tenemos en un ojo donde se representas las estrellas de la bandera Europea.

It is the smiley which smiles because we are happy to participate all in this project.
The crown is all the colors to remind all the countries and look of the gaiety.

This is the Romanian mascot- ROLITUR FRESPO

Our mascot combines the features of an owl, the symbol of intelligence and agility and of a squirrel, the symbol of cunning. It needs glasses to read all the tales from all over the world, kept in the book under its arm. And it has a tie with our school symbol. Its name is ROLITUR FRESPO.

Dearest friends,

this is the mascotte, made and chosen from Italian students: they tried to do their best and were so keen in all they did!!!

We hope you like it: it's a little cat, bringing in its hands a book of tales, Comenius tales! The kitty is seated on the world, because the tales we are working on come from all over the world. It's very happy because we work all together with the same aim, and we know each other better and better!!!!

La última actividad organizada para el profesorado comenius, fue la visita a Cartagena, donde tenían programada la visita al Antiguo Ayuntamiento de Cartagena con una guía en inglés. Después, visitaron el Museo ARQUA (el Museo Nacional de Arqueología Subacuática), y una vez finalizada la visita, se desplazaron a La Manga del Mar Menor, donde pudieron disfrutar de un típico Caldero a las orillas del Mar Menor.

Para ello, pudimos contar con una guía en inglés que mostró al profesorado La Catedral de Murcia y el Casino. Después, de estas dos visitas, tuviero un acto en el Ayuntamiento de Murcia, donde les recibió la Concejal de Cultura y Programas Europeos Dña Fátima Barnuevo.

Durante la estancia de los/as profesores/as del Proyecto Comenius, tuvo lugar una comida el viernes día 12 de noviembre donde se pudo realizar una degustación de los productos más típicos de los diferentes países (España, Francia, Italia, Lituania, Polonia, Rumania y Turquía.

ACTIVIDAD PRIMER TRIMESTRE (CURSO 2010-2011): II CARRERA SOLIDARIA.

PRIMER TRIMESTRE ACTIVIDAD (CURSO 2010-2011): CARRERA SOLIDARIA II.
Realizamos este curso la II Carrera Solidaria del colegio. En esta ocasión colaboramos con la ONG Save The Children en la campaña “Kilómetros de solidaridad por Haití” y la encuadramos dentro de la celebración del Día de los Derechos del Niño.
Los objetivos que nos planteamos para esta actividad son los siguientes:

Promocionar la práctica deportiva por medio de una acción solidaria.

Concienciar al alumnado de las necesidades de l@s niñ@s de otros países y ayudar, en la medida de lo posible, a solventarlos.

Ofrecer al alumnado una actividad deportiva de carácter colectivo y la oportunidad de compartirla con el resto de la comunidad escolar.

Anteponer el gusto por participar y el juego limpio a la necesidad de la victoria.

Promover y conocer los derechos de la infancia y solidarizarnos con aquellos que no los ven cubiertos.

Este evento se celebraró el viernes 12 de noviembre a las 10:30h en el campo de fútbol de El Esparragal, aprovechando la presencia en el centro del profesorado del Proyecto Comenius. Se establecen las siguientes categorías:
Educación Infantil: mixto.
Primer ciclo: mixto.
Segundo ciclo: mixto.
Tercer ciclo: masculino y femenino.
Adultos (padres, madres y profesorado): masculino y femenino.

La inscripción para esta carrera costaba 1 € por dorsal (más la voluntad). Las responsables de recoger el dinero del alumnado fueron las tutoras y para las inscripciones de los padres y madres el Equipo Directivo.

ACTIVIDAD PRIMER TRIMESTRE (CURSO 2010-2011): FRUTOS DE OTOÑO, FRUTOS DEL MUNDO.

Durante la visita de los/as profesores/as del Proyecto Comenius, realizaron una visita al Edificio de Infantil el 11 de noviembre, donde se llevó a cabo la actividad "FRUTOS DE OTOÑO, FRUTOS DEL MUNDO".
Dicha actividad consistió en preparar un mercadillo de frutos de otoño. Para ello se les pidió a todos los alumnos de Infantil que llevaran al Cole, un fruto de otoño, después las mamás y papás de Infantil prepararon en el patio unas mesas donde se expusieron los diferentes frutos pelados y sin pelar para que pudieran ver la diferencia. Además, iban acompañados de una tarjeta con su dibujo para poder identificarlos. Después, las maestras de infantil estuvieron explicando a sus alumnos cuales son los frutos carnosos y cuales son los frutos secos. Una vez finalizado pasaron a degustar los diferentes frutos de Otoño.

ACTIVIDAD PRIMER TRIMESTRE (CURSO 2010-2011): REUNIONES DE TRABAJO.

Durante la semana pasada del 10 al 12 de noviembre recibimos la visita en nuestro centro de diferentes profesores y profesoras socios del Proyecto Comenius "A World of Tales". Durante su estancia en nuestro centro se realizaron varias reuniones de trabajo, en las que se consensuaron las diferentes actividades a realizar y las movilidades a llevar a cabo durante estos dos años.

Todas estas reuniones de trabajo finalizaron el viernes 12 de noviembre con la entrega de certificados a cada uno de los asistentes.

ACTIVIDAD PRIMER TRIMESTRE (CURSO 2010-2011): ACTO DE BIENVENIDA.

El pasado miércoles 10 de noviembre tuvo lugar en el Centro Cultural de El Esparragal el Acto de Bienvenida a nuestro centro de profesores y profesoras socios comenius. Al acto acudió el Jefe de Servicio de Innovación y Formación del Profesorado de la Consejería de Educación, Formación y Empleo D. Pablo Reverte y el alcalde pedáneo de El Esparragal D. Ángel Ortiz. Durante la primera parte del acto tomó la palabra Dña Mariola Sanz, directora del CEIP Ntra. Sra. de los Ángeles, seguido del alcalde pedáneo y del representante de la Consejería.

Después tuvo lugar la presentación a través de Power Point y videos de los diferentes centros socios comenius. A continuación, tuvo lugar una Exhibición de Danza Espoñala a cargo de dos estudiantes del consevatorio de danza. Seguidamente, los/as alumnos/as de Sexto de Primaria realizaron una interpretación musical en inglés (Yellow submarine).

Para finalizar los/as alumnos/as de cuarto y quinto de Primaria realizaron varias danzas populares de Francia, Rumania e Italia.

ACTIVIDAD DEL PRIMER TRIMESTRE 2010-2011: "CONOCEMOS EUROPA.

Durante los meses de septiembre y octubre, previos a la primera reunión de trabajo con todos los miembros del Proyecto Comenius, se llevó a cabo la actividad "Concozco Europa". A través de esta actividad se ha pretendido que nuestro alumnado conociera diferentes aspectos (su capital, su idioma, su bandera,...) de nuestros socios comenius.

Así se ha planteado trabajar en dos fases:

La primera, fue la investigación llevada a cabo por los diferentes cursos de Primaria, en la que cada curso ha investigado sobre un país socio comenius (primero-Italia, segundo-Polonia, tercero-Turquía, cuarto-Lituania, quinto-Rumania y sexto-Francia), todo ello a través de una WebQuest titulada "A World of Tales" (Pincha sobre la imagen para acceder a la WebQuest)

Luego vino la segunda fase que consistió en la exposición de los diferentes trabajos en la entrada del colegio. A continuación se muestran una serie de trabajos realizados por los diferentes alumnos/as de nuestro centro:

Murcia is a Spanish city, capital of the municipality and the province of the same name and the autonomous community of Murcia. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: A WORLD OF TALES

We are a group of rural and near the big city Primary Schools from different countries: Spain, Poland, France, Italy, Lithuania, Turkey. Primary and Secondary from Romania, where there are students from different cultures and nationalities.

In our project we intend to improve the standard skill of reading of our students, through knowledge and reading different stories, tales and legends from different continents. Reading stories of the world will enrich us with new sensations and experiences. At the same time it will contribute to learn to respect other cultures and promote a democratic and multicultural society.

For this purpose some activities related to storytelling will be carried out. They will be involved in all curriculum areas and new technologies. Each school will design a section on the website of the centre, indicating the work done.
The coordinating centre will design a website with educational interactive activities offered by the different partner countries.

At the end of each year, all countries will organize exhibitions where both original works and photographs of children's work will be shown. These photographs and works will be also shared through the Internet (e.Twinning) on a general Comenius web site designed by the coordinating centre. ICT will be used extensively throughout the project to inform, prepare and disseminate the exhibitions and the final product.

Some mobilities will be carried out by the teachers from the participating schools. Each institution requests different number of mobilities according to the number of the teachers implied in the project in each school.

The Polish Primary School is situated in the suburbs of a town called Rybnik ( south part of Poland) with 150000 inhabitants.
The school has a staff of 54 teachers and 671 children from age 6 to 12 ( all of them involved in the project).

We have pupils with both psychical, mental and also visual disabilities .The number of such students grows considerably during the past few years. We are glad that all our pupils have the opportunity to confront the level of their tolerance in reality, yet the financial condition of Polish schools does not help us to deal with the disabled students with the necessary care. It is the role of schools to open students’ minds towards the possibilities carried by knowledge of foreign languages. Our students seem to understand the need but at the same time they hardly believe they could change their lives only by being better foreign language learners and users. The disabled ones are even more pessimistic in regards their future.

The socioeconomic level of families is low due to unemployment. Due to the socioeconomic reasons it is quite difficult to expect some international exchange to take place. We have the students’ population of immigrants and they are fully integrated into the school. The number of such students grows also.
School’s participation in some international cooperation program will by no means enrich the European dimension of our extracurricular activities.

We are very much aware of the Silesia region with its customs and traditions. Meeting foreign language speakers or only reading foreigners' tales make us realize that all small regions such as ours are as important as large, rich countries, which also consist of smaller districts with their own culture and traditions. Different methods and techniques of working with young people will certainly influence their attitude towards teaching, students and language.

The school is associated with the catholic religious faith but is respectful to all creeds and ideologies. Our guiding principle is coeducation and we advocate the principle of equality.

EL COLEGIO.
La Escuela Primaria de Polonia está situada en los suburbios de una ciudad llamada Rybnik (parte sur de Polonia) con 150.000 habitantes. El colegio cuenta con una plantilla de 54 profesores y 671 niños de 6 a 12 años (todos ellos participan en el proyecto). Tenemos alumnos con discapacidad tanto psíquica, mental como visual. El número de estudiantes ha crecido considerablemente en los últimos años. Nos complace que todos nuestros alumnos tienen la oportunidad de confrontar su nivel de tolerancia en la realidad, sin embargo, la situación financiera de las escuelas polacas no nos ayuda para hacer frente a los alumnos discapacitados con el cuidado necesario. Es papel de las escuelas abrir las mentes de los estudiantes hacia las posibilidades que proporcionan el conocimiento de lenguas extranjeras. Nuestro alumnado parece comprender la necesidad, pero al mismo tiempo le cuesta creer que pueden cambiar su vida sólo por ser mejores estudiantes y usuarios de lenguas extranjeras. Los discapacitados son aún más pesimistas en cuanto a su futuro. El nivel socioeconómico de las familias es bajo, por el desempleo existente. Debido a razones socioeconómicas es muy difícil esperar que algún intercambio internacional tenga lugar. Tenemos estudiantes inmigrantes que están plenamente integrados en la escuela. El número de alumnos crece también. La participación escolar en programas de cooperación internacional de alguna manera enriquece la dimensión europea de nuestras actividades extracurriculares.
Somos muy conscientes de las costumbres y tradiciones de la región de Silesia. El encuentro con hablantes de idiomas extranjeros y la lectura de cuentos extranjeros hará que nos demos cuenta que todas las regiones pequeñas como la nuestra, con distritos más pequeños con su propia cultura y tradiciones son tan importantes como las grandes y más ricas. Los diferentes métodos y técnicas de trabajo con los jóvenes sin duda influirán en su actitud hacia la enseñanza y el idioma.
La escuela está asociada con la fe religiosa católica, pero es respetuosa con todos los credos e ideologías. Nuestro principio rector es la coeducación y defendemos el principio de igualdad.

NUESTRO PROYECTO: "A WORLD OF TALES"

Con este proyecto tenemos la intención de mejorar la habilidad de lectura de nuestros estudiantes, a través del conocimiento y la lectura de historias, cuentos y leyendas de los diferentes continentes. La lectura de cuentos del mundo nos enriquecerá con nuevas sensaciones y experiencias. Al mismo tiempo, contribuirá a aprender a respetar otras culturas y promover una sociedad democrática y multicultural.
Para ello se llevarán a cabo una serie de actividades relacionadas con la narración de cuentos que estarán involucrados en todas las áreas curriculares y las nuevas tecnologías. Cada centro diseñará una sección Comenius en su página web, donde mostrará el trabajo realizado.
El centro de coordinación diseñará una web educativa con las actividades interactivas ofrecidas por los diferentes países socios.
Al final de cada año, todos los países organizarán exposiciones de los trabajos originales y fotografías del trabajo de los niños. Estas fotos también serán compartidas a través de Internet (e.Twinning) en una página web general del Comenius diseñada por el centro coordinador. Las TIC se utilizan ampliamente en todo el proyecto para informar, preparar y difundir las exposiciones y el producto final.
Se llevarán a cabo una serie de movilidades por parte de los profesores de las escuelas participantes. Cada colegio solicita diferente número de movilidades atendiendo al número de los profesores implicados en el proyecto en cada centro.

Murcia es una ciudad española, capital del municipio y de la provincia del mismo nombre y de la comunidad autónoma de la Región de Murcia. Está situada en el sudeste de la Península Ibérica a orillas del río Segura. Con 436.870 habitantes (INE 2009) Murcia ocupa el 7º puesto en la lista de municipios de España por población.
